PAGCOR is aiming to launch an app in December 2026 that helps players in the Philippines check whether an online gaming site is licensed. The plan was first described by Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco in August.
Tengco explained the plan at a House budget hearing on 24 August 2026. The aim is to steer players towards platforms that PAGCOR licenses and regulates.
An October report says PAGCOR is now targeting a December launch. The app builds on PAGCOR Guarantee, the verification site launched in June 2025 at pagcorguarantee.ph, where anyone can already check an operator.
Some reports say the app may also add a formal way to raise disputes with licensed platforms. Until it launches, the verification website is the official place to check.
