PAGCOR’s total revenue fell 23.41% to Php64.41 billion in the first nine months of 2026, from Php84.09 billion a year earlier, the regulator said on 29 October 2026. Electronic gaming, which includes online play, saw the biggest drop.
Revenue from electronic gaming fell 37.23%, from Php44.03 billion to Php27.63 billion. Licensed casinos fell 3.22% to Php23.10 billion, PAGCOR’s own Casino Filipino branches fell 8% to Php7.28 billion, and poker fell 4.6% to Php105.86 million.
Net income dropped 84.85% to Php2.17 billion. PAGCOR linked this to a Supreme Court ruling that it must give 5% of its gross revenue to the Philippine Sports Commission, nearly double what it paid before.
Even so, PAGCOR sent Php45.28 billion to government programmes and other required payments in the period, including Php27.61 billion to the National Treasury. Chairman Alejandro Tengco said PAGCOR will keep strengthening its regulatory oversight.
