PAGCOR revenue falls 26.6% to Php43.3 billion in the first half of 2026

First-half revenue down 26.6%: cover picture for this story

PAGCOR’s total revenue fell 26.6% to Php43.3 billion, about US$705 million, in the first six months of 2026. The drop was driven mainly by weaker revenue from online gaming.

PAGCOR is both the regulator and an operator of gaming in the Philippines, and its income funds government programmes.

Online gaming had grown quickly in earlier years, so a slowdown there has a large effect on the total.

Later in the year, PAGCOR said it expects full-year income to be about 18% lower than in 2025.

Key points

  • Revenue: Php43.3 billion in January–June 2026.
  • Change: down 26.6% year on year.
  • Main reason: weaker online gaming revenue.
