About Pragmatic Play Live Poker Lobby

Pragmatic Play's live poker lobby, hosted by a live dealer at a Hold'em table. You choose a table, place an Ante and play your hand against the dealer's.

Format
Live dealer poker lobby
Aim
Beat the dealer's best 5-card hand

Key features & rules

  • The lobby lists the live poker tables that are open, with each table's limits.
  • Most tables are played against the dealer, not against other players.
  • Casino Hold'em style: you get 2 cards, the dealer shares 5 community cards and the best 5-card hand counts.
  • Each table has its own paytable and side bets, shown in its help panel.

Step-by-step tutorial

  1. Match the title

Open Pragmatic Play Live Poker Lobby on its own page. Each table in the lobby can use different rules, so read that table's help panel.

  2. Check the table limits

Find the minimum and maximum bets and the payout list for the table you pick in Pragmatic Play Live Poker Lobby.

  3. Pick a table

In the lobby, compare the open tables by game type and betting limits, then open one.

  4. Place the Ante

Put your chip on the Ante spot before the betting timer ends. Add a side bet only if you understand it.

  5. Call or fold

After you see your 2 cards and the first 3 community cards, either Call (usually twice the Ante) or Fold and give up the Ante.

  6. See the showdown

The last 2 community cards are dealt. Your best 5-card hand is compared with the dealer's, using the table's qualifying rule and paytable.

  7. Review the round

Wait for the round to settle, then read the result in the game history. Past results do not predict the next round.

A simple example

You hold A♠ K♠ and the flop is K♦ 7♣ 2♥, a pair of kings, so you Call. The board ends 9♠ 4♦. The dealer holds Q♣ J♦, also a pair of kings, but your ace kicker is higher, so you win.

An illustration of the rules, not a prediction of an actual result.

Common questions

Do I play against other players?

Usually not. At these live tables everyone plays their own hand against the dealer, so other players' choices don't change your result.

Where can I check payouts and available features?

Read the help and paytable inside the exact game version. Rules, return-to-player values, minimum stakes, and available features can differ.

Does a popular game offer better odds?

Popularity describes attention or activity, not a promise about payouts. Past results and player interest do not establish the outcome of the next round.
